The aim of UK Touring Sites is to provide today's caravaners and campers with a fully searchable database of caravan and camping sites throughout the UK. In addition to a simple site listing, the user will be able to search for a site using their own personal preferences. This type of search has become increasingly popular with internet users since the development of websites such as GoCompare.com, Confused.com etc.
The search facility will provide a level playing field for site owners as there will be no 'pay for ranking' offer, therefore if your site is the best match then it will be displayed first. Once UK Touring Sites becomes popular we will be offering paid advertising.
Listing a site on our directory is FREE and always will be. However, we will only be listing caravan and camping sites that have a website. If you do not have a website then continue to read on as we will be providing details below of how you can get that all important web presence at a very low cost.
As this directory only went 'live' on the 31st March, it will take a little time for it to work its way up the Google rankings. The company that developed this website for us, Central UK Web Design, are experts at Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and have structured the website in such a way that a high search ranking will be obtained in a relatively short amount of time.
To list your site for FREE simply register with us. Once registered you will be able to submit your site details using our online data entry forms. As the listing is free and always will be, you have nothing to lose but the time it takes to register and complete the forms.
For owners without a web site we have teamed up with Central UK Web Design to offer two quality low cost solutions. If you already have a website then the pricing offered by Central UK Web Design may still be of interest to you.
We will create a subdomain name of your choice (usually a variation of your caravan or camping site name) on our servers and develop a three page web site for you which will include an online contact/reservation form. The web pages will be fully managed by you via a user friendly admin centre, so that you can amend the colours, photos and information as often as you wish.
This will provide you with a virtual website that can be accessed directly using the web address: www.yoursubdomain.uktouringsites.co.uk.
The cost of this solution is just £29.95 per year.
Our developers at Central UK Web Design will develop a five page site for you including a FREE .co.uk domain name of your choice, (the domain name must be available), for only £149.95, with the first year's hosting also FREE. They will then host the site for just £59.95 per year. As with solution 1 the website will contain a contact/reservation form and be fully managed by you via a user friendly admin centre.

Why create another caravan and camping site directory?
There can never be too many places to list your caravan park or camping site, particularly if the listing is FREE.
As caravaners and campers ourselves, we wanted a directory that only listed sites with websites, so that users could have some idea of what the site had to offer. In addition we wanted a directory where the user could search for a site that best met their needs rather than having to trawling through a seemingly endless list of irrelevant sites.

At UK Touring Sites we cannot see why anyone should have to pay just to be on a list. As the website gets more popular and moves up the Google rankings, which it inevitably will with the Techies at Central UK Web handling the search engine optimisation, then we will offer placement advertising.
